A structured programme for applicants seeking a Light Motor Vehicle driving licence, delivered under the syllabus prescribed for Accredited Driving Training Centres in the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989.

Certification: Form 5B on successful completion, which exempts the holder from the driving test prescribed under Rule 15(2) of the CMVR, 1989.
Eligibility criteria
- Minimum age 18 years
- Valid Learner’s Licence for the LMV class
- Medical fitness as prescribed under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988
- Minimum 85% attendance is required to complete the course
Mode of delivery
Classroom, driving simulator and automated test track
Assessment
Continuous in-course evaluation followed by a driving-skill test conducted on the centre’s automated test track.
