Who we are

Safe Road Group operates through five registered entities: Safe Road Skill and Technology LLP, Varanasi, and four Safe Road Training and Testing Centers in Uttar Pradesh. In this policy, "we" and "us" refer to the group and to whichever entity handles your enquiry.

What we collect

We collect personal information only where you choose to give it to us. Specifically:

• Enquiry form: your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, the course you are interested in, your preferred centre, and any message you write.
• Careers form: your name, phone number, and optionally your email address, the role you are applying for, your CV, and any message you write.
• Technical information sent automatically by your browser when you submit a form, including your IP address and browser identification. This is retained as part of the enquiry record.

Why we collect it

We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, to confirm course dates, fees and eligibility, to process an enrolment, and to assess a job application. Where you enrol on a course, we also use it to maintain the attendance, assessment and certification records that the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 and the Transport Department require us to keep.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary:

• With the State Transport Authority, the Transport Department and the licensing authority, where required for course records, testing, certification or licence endorsement.
• With your employer or fleet operator, where they have arranged and are paying for your training, and only in relation to that training.
• With service providers who host this website and our internal systems, who process the data only on our instructions.
• Where we are required to do so by law, or by a court or regulatory authority.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an enrolment are retained for up to twelve months. Training, assessment and certification records are retained for as long as the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 and the Transport Department require, and for as long as we may need them to verify a certificate we have issued. Job applications are retained for up to twelve months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry and training records inside the group is limited to the staff who need it for their work. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we hold.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to:

• Confirm what personal information about you we hold, and give you a summary of it.
• Correct information that is inaccurate, or complete information that is incomplete.
• Erase information we no longer need, subject to records we are required by law to retain.
• Withdraw your consent, after which we will stop processing your information except where we are required to retain it.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Where a cookie is used, it is strictly necessary for the site to function.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be notified on this page.
